Senior Highlights

Arial Coleman

After high school, Arial plans to attend the University of Olivet for pre-med Biology and eventually work to become a pediatric surgeon. The staff members who have had the biggest impact on her are Mr. Wilhelm, Mrs. Leatherman, and Mrs. Webb, who have all helped her when she needed it. Something Arial is looking forward to after graduation is meeting her college professors and scheduling classes. The highlight of her senior year was getting to spend the last moments of high school with all of her friends.

Jakeb McDonald

After high school, Jakeb plans to attend college for insurance, and hopefully baseball. Then he would like to go into the insurance field and become an agent. The staff member who has had the biggest impact on him is Mr. Wilkes because he has helped in every sport Jake has played and he’s known him since he was little. Something Jakeb is looking forward to after graduation is being able to hang out with friends that are already graduated. The highlight of his senior year was being in the IZZONE against Oregon.

Sophia Rose

After high school, Sophia plans to attend LCC, get her associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and become an ultrasound technician. The staff member who has had the biggest impact on her is Mrs. Catchick. Sophia has had Mrs. Catchick as a teacher for all 4 years of high school and even got lucky enough to have her as her advisory teacher. Mrs. Catchick never fails to make her smile and always has a way to brighten her day. Something Sophia is looking forward to after graduation is not coming to school anymore. Some advice she would like to give to incoming freshmen is “Don’t let anyone tell you being mean is cool. Find good friends and treat people how you want to be treated.” The highlight of her senior year was cheer.
