Greetings Maple Valley Families,
I am hoping everyone had a great weekend and will have the opportunity to enjoy the homecoming events this week. Please remember Parent/Teacher Conferences will be on October 19 and 20 after school. We want everyone to be safe and healthy for the Halloween party. Teachers will be having parties in their classrooms, but we will not be having community members/visitors come in. Please know safety and health are our main concerns. We have a few Halloween guidelines to follow:
- Costumes with blood or outfits with guns, knives, swords, light sabers, axes, or other weapons are NOT ALLOWED at school
- Face paint is NOT ALLOWED at school
- If a mask is worn as part of a costume, the eyes must be cut big enough for your child to be able to see well - also check costume size and length. It is hard for a child to wear a costume that is too big, bulky, or long.
