Letter to Families

Please read this letter from Mr. Trent Harvey and Dr. Wayne Ruman.

Greetings Fuller Street Families,

I just wanted to say thank you for all of the support you have given the school and the staff. Your support means so much to all of us. With unknowns approaching, staff is working hard to keep your students safe!

Our after-school programs are running smoothly. Monday through Thursday some students stay after school to bolster their academics. Music Club is on Wednesdays. Odyssey of the Mind is on Monday and Thursday. Wrestling Club will be starting on November 16, running on Tuesday and Thursday in our gym. If there is no school, watch for updates about after-school activities through social media, phone calls, emails, or television.

Some upcoming dates to remember:

  • Thursday, November 17 is our picture retake day
  • Wednesday, November 24 is a half-day with dismissal at 12:00 pm
  • Thursday, November 25, and Friday, November 26, there is no school in celebration of Thanksgiving
  • Friday, December 3 is a half-day with dismissal at 12:00 pm

As cold weather settles in, please remember to send your child to school with plenty of outdoor wear. Coats, snow pants, boots, hats, and gloves will be needed soon. We send students outside everyday for recess unless it is raining or unless the temperature or windchill is zero or below.

Our plan is always to have in-person learning. The last couple of days have taught us that our plan can change quickly. I’m so proud of our staff for being able to get packets ready and switch to some virtual learning within a very quick time frame.  Keep an eye on your email or listen for the robocalls to keep you updated with our changes.

Sincerely,

Trent Harvey
