Greater Lansing Food Bank - Weekend Kits

Maple Valley Schools is partnering with the Greater Lansing Food Bank in an effort to make sure food is available to those who need it.

Weekend Kits are bags of food that slip discreetly into your child's backpack and are intended to meet the nutritional needs of children during non-school hours, specifically over weekends or longer breaks. There are no eligibility requirements to participate in this program and any child in need of food can receive a Weekend Kit.

All school-aged children from kindergarten to 12th grade are eligible to participate in GLFB's Weekend Kits program. There is no cost to your family to participate in this program. If you would like your child to participate, please complete the form below.

This form can be filled out for each of your children. After submitting, just click on "Submit Another Response". Once you've filled out this form, your child(ren) will continue to receive the Weekend Kits while the program is running or until you email Communications@mvs.k12.mi.us and ask to be removed.
